What Have I Been Watching?
I typically do a monthly TikTok video highlighting the recent shows I’ve been watching. I decided to take a shot at writing about what I’ve been watching over the past few months, and I’ll toss in a video when I get around to it.
I keep up with my viewing using an app called SeriesGuide, available in the Google Play Store. It’s a handy app since I can see when my favorite streaming shows have new episodes, and I can add shows I’m interested in seeing and be reminded of them once they’re released.
Silo (Apple TV+)
This show is an adaptation of Hugh Howie’s Silo saga sci-fi trilogy. As most adaptations do, the show takes considerable liberties with the source material, but they tell a compelling story in this case. The first season of the series covers about two-thirds of the first book. If they take the series along the same general path as the novels, it will be a great story.
Secret Invasion (Disney+)
This series is centered on Nick Fury, as played by Samuel L. Jackson. I really wanted to like this show but it just didn’t keep me on the edge of my seat. It’s one of those I could have binged in a weekend rather than watching weekly. I would only recommend it if you have time to kill.
