Let’s head to the kitchenette
The long-awaited Season 2 of Severance kicked off to a breathless start with Mark S leaving the elevator and racing around the basement level of Lumon.

When Season 1 ended our favorite Lumon innies (Mark S, Irving B, and Helly R) ventured into the outie world with the help of Dylan G to see how the other half lived. Hilarity did not ensue. Mark S realized his Lumon boss, Ms. Cobel, was cosplaying as his neighbor, Ms. Selvig for some reason, and that his dead wife was alive, and had been working at Lumon as Ms. Casey, from Wellness. Irving B realized he was a painter and that his father had served in the navy. Helly R realized she was far more involved in the Lumon organization than anyone would have guessed, as the daughter of the CEO. Dylan G had already learned in the outside world that he had a kid. As the season ended, Ms. Cobel recognized that the Mark S speaking to her was innie-Mark, not outie-Mark, and sought to pull the plug on that with the aid of Mr. Milchick.
All of that catches us up to innie-Mark exiting the elevator in a panic racing to get to the Wellness room, where Ms. Casey had worked. When he gets there, the Wellness room had been completely changed. Everything was…
